megan & jermey: wedding

Megan & Jermey were high school sweethearts… she was 14 and he was barely 16 when they started dating. Five years later, in 2007, he proposed, and now, after two years of being engaged and a lot of wedding planning, Megan & Jermey are finally married!

The small church in Advance, NC where they held their ceremony on Saturday was overflowing with guests, as was The Red Barn at Tanglewood where they held their reception. It was obvious that Megan & Jermey have brought joy to the lives of a lot of people, who, in return, were thrilled to celebrate their special day.

Throughout the past year, we’ve gotten to know them and their family pretty well as we've had the pleasure of shooting their engagements, as well as her bridals.

We were lucky enough that Megan & Jermey alotted us a 1/2 hour with them after they left their reception to photograph some just-married bride & groom shots. They did so great :) I really love this first image.
